Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on baking experience in a professional setting
- Ability to use baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and blenders
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in English language skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal baking education or training from a culinary school or bakery program is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on baking experience in a professional setting
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and presentation for cakes, breads, pastries, and other specialty baked goods
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to consistency and quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Must be able to speak, read, and communicate clearly in English
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including pies, cookies, pastries, cakes, and more using mixers, ovens, blenders, and other baking equipment
- Conduct quality checks on ingredients and final products to maintain food safety and excellence standards
- Interact with customers by answering questions, taking custom orders, processing payments, and delivering warm, friendly service
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and special orders
- Ensure all client orders are fulfilled correctly and delivered on time
- Clean and restock workstations, maintaining a safe, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Support the bakery team with additional tasks and duties as assigned
