Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Willingness to adhere to dress code and safety regulations
- Ability to tolerate working in hot and cold environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over one year of baking experience preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment operation
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to prepare and decorate various bakery products
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings according to established recipes and techniques
- Weigh and measure ingredients precisely to ensure product quality
- Operate and maintain baking equipment including mixers, ovens, and proofing chambers
- Shape, mold, and decorate dough to create breads, pastries, and desserts
- Monitor baking process to ensure products meet quality standards
- Coordinate with bakery lead on baking priorities and production schedules
- Assist in inventory management of ingredients and supplies
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
