Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Willingness to adhere to dress code and safety regulations
  • Ability to tolerate working in hot and cold environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Over one year of baking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment operation
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to prepare and decorate various bakery products
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings according to established recipes and techniques
  • Weigh and measure ingredients precisely to ensure product quality
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment including mixers, ovens, and proofing chambers
  • Shape, mold, and decorate dough to create breads, pastries, and desserts
  • Monitor baking process to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Coordinate with bakery lead on baking priorities and production schedules
  • Assist in inventory management of ingredients and supplies
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
