Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with restaurant operations team and upper leadership team
  • Protects organization's value by keeping company information confidential
  • Provides excellent internal and external customer service
  • Works flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed
  • Multi-tasks and quickly prioritizes work duties
  • Prepares ingredients and assembles baked goods according to restaurant recipes and specifications
  • Reviews production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake
  • Shapes, cuts, weights, and molds dough into required shapes and sizes
  • Proofs dough and bakes items to quality standards
  • Applies glazes, icings, or toppings to baked goods
  • Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, grills, deep-fat fryers, and slicers
  • Reads and follows order instructions to bake accordingly
  • Verifies prepared baked goods meet quality and quantity requirements
  • Cleans, stocks, and restocks workstations and display cases
  • Adheres to all safety protocols as this is a safety sensitive position
