Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or G.E.D., culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate preferred
  • Minimum of four years experience in high volume bakery production in hotel, casino restaurant, or bakery preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Proficient in reading and understanding English
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers
  • Ability to maintain sanitation standards and follow safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or G.E.D., culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate
  • Four or more years in high volume bakery production in hotel, casino restaurant, or bakery is preferred
  • Ability to stand throughout a shift or for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read/understand English and communicate with co-workers

Job Duties

  • Prepare consistent and high-quality multilayered Danish pastries with filling
  • Communicate with management regarding inventory stock levels
  • Check and maintain all bakery equipment and report any damaged or broken pieces to management in a timely manner
  • Keep management fully informed of all unsafe or unsanitary conditions, problems or unusual matters
  • Assist with maintaining all recipe files and production schedules for all Peppermill bakery items
  • Follow all sanitation procedures as set by the company
  • Support the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service
  • Display superior teamwork abilities and assist fellow culinarians whenever and wherever needed
