Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience baking from scratch in a busy kitchen
- Experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Creativity in menu development and dessert decoration
- Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately
- Strong organizational and delegation skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Willingness to work part-time weekend shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare baked goods and desserts following standardized recipes
- Calculate ingredient quantities needed according to the number of persons to be served
- Delegate responsibilities to cook assistants
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain safe and sanitary work area
- Ensure proper food storage using FIFO methods
- Meet food production schedules according to menu
- Notify Food Service Director or Chef of low food supplies
