Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of experience baking from scratch in a busy kitchen
  • creativity and decorating skills
  • experience as line cook or prep cook preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks required in kitchen
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • fully vaccinated preferred
  • ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare baked goods and desserts according to standardized recipes
  • calculate quantities needed for the number of persons served
  • delegate tasks to cook assistants
  • assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary work area
  • ensure proper food storage following FIFO methods
  • meet food production schedules for daily menus and special events
  • notify supervisor of low food supplies
