Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
at least one year of experience baking from scratch in a busy kitchen
creativity and decorating skills
experience as line cook or prep cook preferred
ability to perform physical tasks required in kitchen
willingness to work flexible hours
fully vaccinated preferred
ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

creativity in developing new menu items
decorating skills
experience as line cook or prep cook preferred
ability to follow standardized recipes and dietary requirements
good communication and delegation skills
food safety knowledge

Job Duties

Prepare baked goods and desserts according to standardized recipes
calculate quantities needed for the number of persons served
delegate tasks to cook assistants
assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary work area
ensure proper food storage following FIFO methods
meet food production schedules for daily menus and special events
notify supervisor of low food supplies
