Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety knowledge and food service or baking experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Must obtain a New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit
- Dependable, punctual, and respectful
- Ability to operate cooking equipment safely
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and order in workstations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior baking or food preparation experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Capability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Comfortable with early morning and overnight shifts
Job Duties
- Collaborates with restaurant operations team and upper leadership team
- Must obtain a New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit
- Protects organization's value by keeping company information confidential
- Provides excellent internal and external customer service
- Works flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Multi-tasks and quickly prioritizes tasks
- Preps ingredients and assembles baked goods according to recipes and specifications
- Reviews production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake
- Shapes dough for cookies, pies and pastries
- Applies glazes, icings, or other toppings to baked goods
- Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, grills, deep-fat fryers and griddles
- Reads order slips and receives instructions to bake to specifications
- Verifies that baked goods meet quality and quantity requirements
- Cleans, stocks and restocks workstations and display cases
- Performs other duties as assigned
