Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in bakery or food preparation is advantageous
ability to operate bakery equipment and follow detailed recipes
understanding of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
strong communication and teamwork skills
proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology is a plus
customer service experience
ability to multitask effectively
problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
commitment to maintaining high quality and operational standards

Job Duties

Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
communicates with team members and is flexible to business needs
prepares bakery merchandise by operating baking equipment
follows recipes and make-up instructions
wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and food safety standards
ensures compliance with sanitation and cold chain guidelines
operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
utilizes digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve operations
commits to operational excellence by maintaining work area and ensuring quality and date control standards
secures fragile merchandise and eliminates waste
assists members with purchasing decisions
models high quality service and products with energy and commitment
complies with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity standards
completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers, adapting to change and feedback
maintains a positive attitude by greeting and thanking members
provides exceptional customer service and answers member questions
maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
