Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a bakery or food preparation environment preferred but not required
- Ability to operate baking equipment safely
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable with using handheld technology for production and inventory management
Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Prepare bakery merchandise by operating baking equipment and following recipes and make-up instructions
- Wrap, label, and store bakery items according to company policies
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize baking equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members and answering questions
