Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in bakery or food preparation is a plus but not required
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate baking equipment and follow recipes accurately
- Adaptability to use digital tools and technology for operational tasks
- Strong communication and multitasking skills, with an emphasis on member satisfaction
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes/make-up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Utilizes digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- Maintains work area according to company policies and procedures, ensuring quality and date control standards for bakery items
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans
