Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food preparation or bakery work beneficial
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Basic technical proficiency with hand-held digital tools
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery department merchandise by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- Utilizes hand-held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production and product quality
- Maintains work area cleanliness and operational excellence
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- Complies with company policies and maintains high ethical standards
- Completes work assignments and communicates progress effectively
