Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- Prior experience in bakery or food service helpful but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies used in the department
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and food safety standards
- Utilizes handheld technology to support production, ordering, training, and quality control
- Maintains operational excellence by keeping the work area clean, organized, and compliant with standards
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and answers questions
- Complies with company policies and communicates progress on assigned tasks
