Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follow recipes and make-up instructions
- wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- utilize handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering, training, and quality decisions
- maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminate waste
- advocate for the department by modeling high-quality service and products
- comply with company policies and ethical standards
- complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers and co-workers
- adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
