Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs to work in multiple areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions for product consistency
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise following company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment regularly
- leverages digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- makes immediate business decisions on production, ordering, training, and quality
- maintains work area according to company policies, ensuring quality and date control standards
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste and assists members with purchasing decisions
- promotes department by modeling high-quality service and products
- executes service basics at highest quality
- exhibits energy, commitment, and passion
- complies with company policies and ethics
- completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources
- collaborates with managers and co-workers
- identifies priorities and deadlines
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
