Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in bakery or retail environment preferred
- ability to operate bakery equipment and follow detailed recipes
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- basic proficiency with handheld technology and digital tools
Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicate with team members and be flexible to work in other areas as needed
- prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- wrap, label, and store merchandise according to policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- leverage handheld technology to drive sales, improve shopping experience, manage production and merchandise ordering
- maintain work area cleanliness and operational excellence
- ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- execute high-quality service and demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work
