Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Ability to lift and carry bakery items and materials as needed
- Must successfully complete required job training and assessments

- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in bakery or food service environment preferred
- Ability to operate baking equipment and follow detailed recipes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Competence in using digital handheld technology
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Team collaboration and adaptability to changing business needs
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and inventory compliance

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in multiple areas
- Prepares bakery merchandise according to daily production requirements by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- Wraps, labels, and properly stores merchandise in compliance with company policies
- Ensures adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- Uses handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, inventory, and quality
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready work area
- Provides exceptional customer service by greeting members, answering questions, and assisting with purchases
- Secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise and eliminates waste
- Acts as an advocate for the department by modeling high-quality service and commitment
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Completes work assignments using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers and coworkers
- Communicates progress, meets priorities and deadlines, and recommends improvements
- Adapts to changes and feedback to enhance performance.
