Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in bakery or food service environment helpful but not required
- ability to operate baking equipment and follow standardized recipes
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in using handheld technology or willingness to learn
- ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced setting
- commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- utilizes handheld technology to make immediate production and ordering decisions
- maintains work area according to company operational excellence standards
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste and assists members with purchasing decisions
- advocates for department and club by modeling high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies and ethical standards
- completes work assignments by prioritizing, collaborating, and adapting to feedback and change
