Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bakery or food service roles preferred
- Ability to operate baking equipment and follow recipes accurately
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures preferred
- Basic proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology
- Positive attitude and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Be a team member by collaborating with other associates, communicating with team members, and being flexible to business needs
- Prepare bakery merchandise daily by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory management standards
- Utilize digital tools to improve sales, shopping experience, and decision-making related to production and product quality
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining work area, ensuring quality and date control, securing merchandise, and assisting members with purchasing decisions
- Advocate for the department and club by modeling high quality service and products, executing basics at the highest quality level, and demonstrating energy and commitment
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards, and collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners to complete tasks and improve processes
