Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicates with team members and is flexible to business needs to work in other areas
- Prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and cold chain compliance
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- Utilizes handheld technology to manage production, ordering, training, and product quality
- Maintains work area cleanliness and adheres to operational excellence standards
- Ensures quality control and date compliance for bakery items
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and answers questions
- Commits to company policies, ethical standards, and uses the Open Door Policy for issues
- Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers and adapts to change
- Advocates for the department and models high-quality service and products
- Demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the bakery role
