- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- leverages digital tools to improve sales and shopping experience
- uses handheld technology for production and ordering decisions
- adapts to and encourages use of new technology
- maintains work area according to policies
- ensures quality and date control of bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures proper packaging and labeling of merchandise
- advocates for the department and models high quality service
- complies with company policies and ethical standards
- completes work assignments using resources and collaboration
- adapts to change and incorporates feedback
