Job Requirements

- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Customer service experience advantageous
- Proficiency in using digital tools and handheld technology preferred
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Basic math skills for inventory and production tracking
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- Utilizes handheld technology for production, ordering, training, and quality control
- Maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
- Assists members with purchasing decisions
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Maintains quality and date control standards
- Eliminates waste
- Complies with company policies and ethical standards
- Completes work assignments and manages priorities through collaboration and communication
- Adapts to new tools and encourages their use within the team
