Job Qualifications

- prior experience in bakery or food preparation is advantageous

- ability to operate baking equipment safely
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to use handheld digital devices

- basic math skills for inventory and portion control
- problem-solving aptitude
- physical ability to stand for long periods and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- utilizes handheld technology to make business decisions related to production and inventory
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
- adheres to company policies and ethics
- communicates progress and information
- adapts to and learns from change and feedback
