Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in bakery or food service is an asset
- ability to operate bakery equipment safely and effectively
- strong customer service skills
- proficiency with handheld technology and digital tools
- solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- problem-solving mindset and adaptability
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs
- prepares bakery merchandise following recipes and operating baking equipment
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes baking equipment
- uses handheld technology to support sales and production decisions
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- assists members with purchasing decisions and bakery orders
- commits to operational excellence and quality control standards
- eliminates waste and secures fragile merchandise
- acts as an advocate for high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards
- manages workload and priorities effectively while communicating progress to managers and team members
