Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic proficiency with digital tools and technology
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- Wraps, labels, and stores bakery merchandise according to company policies and food safety standards
- Uses handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality
- Maintains work area cleanliness, ensures quality and date control standards, and eliminates waste
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
