Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- Utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production and merchandise ordering
- Ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- Secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- Assists members with purchasing decisions
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity
- Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers
- Adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback
