Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bakery or food preparation is beneficial but not required
- Ability to follow recipes and operating instructions accurately
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills

- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Comfortable using handheld digital technology

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- Utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, and product quality
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- Provides exceptional customer service to members by assisting with bakery orders and answering questions
- Ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- Secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise to minimize waste
- Communicates effectively with team members and management
- Adheres to company policies, ethics, and safety practices.
