Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and food safety standards
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- utilizes handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality
- maintains clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- provides exceptional customer service to members and assists with purchasing decisions
- ensures quality control and date compliance for bakery items
- eliminates waste and secures fragile merchandise
- complies with company policies and safety standards
- advocates for the department and models high quality service and products
- adapts to change and learns from feedback
