Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicating with team members
- being flexible to work in other areas as needed
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
- utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and quality
- adapts to and encourages use of new digital tools
- maintains operational excellence by keeping work area clean and organized
- ensures quality and date control for bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- packages, labels, and stores merchandise properly
- advocates for the department and club by modeling high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies and ethics standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- communicates progress and adapts to feedback and change
