Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- Experience in food preparation or bakery setting is an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate baking equipment and follow detailed recipes
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Comfortable using technology and handheld devices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team and communicate effectively
- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- Utilize hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- Maintain work area according to company policies and procedures ensuring quality and date control for bakery items
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored according to company policies and food safety standards
- Follow company policies, procedures, and standards to complete work assignments effectively
