Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in bakery, food service, or retail environment is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Proficiency in using handheld technology for production and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and new technologies
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicates effectively with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- Prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- Wraps, labels, and stores bakery merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality
- Maintains work area according to company policies and procedures, ensuring quality control and minimizing waste
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and questions
- Models high-quality service and product knowledge while executing tasks with energy and commitment
- Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers
- Communicates progress and identifies opportunities for improvement while adapting to change and feedback
