Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes, make-up instructions, wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production and product quality
- maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
- assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- complies with company policies and procedures
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
