Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
  • prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
  • follows recipes, make-up instructions, wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
  • ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
  • operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
  • utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production and product quality
  • maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
  • assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
  • complies with company policies and procedures
  • completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers
  • communicates progress and recommends improvements
