Job Qualifications

- Prior experience in bakery or food preparation is a plus

- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Basic computer skills and willingness to use digital tools
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods while performing duties

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- Assists members with purchasing decisions
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Completes work assignments using policies, data, and resources
- Communicates progress and information to managers and coworkers
- Identifies priorities and deadlines
- Adapts to and learns from change and feedback
