Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates effectively with team members
- adapts to business needs and works in other areas as needed
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality
- maintains work area according to company policies
- ensures quality and date control for bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- minimizes waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- advocates for the department and values the member experience through high quality service and products
- complies with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers
