Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery department merchandise following recipes and production needs
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes baking equipment
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, cold chain requirements, and sanitation guidelines
- utilizes handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering, and training
- maintains cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- complies with company policies and ethical standards
- completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks and communicating progress
- identifies improvement opportunities and adapts to changes
