Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates effectively with team members
- works flexibly across different business needs
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- manages inventory and ensures cold chain compliance
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes baking equipment
- uses handheld technology to optimize production and merchandise ordering
- assists members with purchasing decisions and answers their questions
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- ensures quality and date control standards are met for bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- promotes operational excellence by adhering to company policies and procedures
- advocates for high-quality service and products
- completes tasks efficiently by using resources, collaborating with partners, and communicating progress
