Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bakery or food service is an advantage
- Ability to operate baking equipment and adhere to recipes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Proficient in using handheld technology for inventory and production management
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical demands of bakery work.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicates with team members and works flexibly in other business areas as needed
- Prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and food safety standards
- Ensures compliance with sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- Uses handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- Maintains work area cleanliness and ensures bakery items meet quality and date control standards
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers, prioritizing tasks, and communicating progress
- Adapt to changes, feedback, and business needs.
