Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- ensures work area is maintained according to company policies and procedures
- assists members with purchasing decisions and answers bakery-related questions
- maintains cleanliness and member-ready presentation of bakery area
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
