Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with the team and adapts to business needs
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by following recipes and operating baking equipment
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- provides exceptional customer service by assisting members and answering their questions
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- utilizes handheld technology to make business decisions related to production and merchandise ordering
- ensures quality and date control standards are met
- eliminates waste and secures fragile merchandise
- serves as an advocate for the department by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service
- complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers
- adapts to and learns from change and feedback
