Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment while understanding product and layout execution
- leverages digital tools to improve sales and the shopping experience
- uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions
- adapts to and promotes new tools
- maintains work area according to company policies
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- eliminates waste and secures fragile merchandise
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- models high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
