- aptitude for multitasking and problem solving
Job Duties
- prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follow recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment regularly
- provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with bakery orders and inquiries
- maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- leverage digital tools to improve production, ordering, training, and product quality
- ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items
- eliminate waste by securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- model high quality service and products while exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work
