Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicates effectively with team members
- Prepares bakery merchandise by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Operates and sanitizes bakery equipment
- Uses handheld technology for production and inventory management
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and answers questions
- Ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- Secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- Eliminates waste and supports operational excellence
- Models high-quality service and product standards
- Completes work assignments using company policies and data
- Adapts to change and feedback while collaborating with managers and coworkers
