Job Duties
- prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs
- operate baking equipment following recipes and make-up instructions
- wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- assist members with bakery orders providing exceptional customer service
- maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- leverage handheld technology to manage production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items
- eliminate waste and secure fragile merchandise
- collaborate with team members to meet business needs
- communicate progress and recommend improvements
- model high-quality service and product knowledge
