Job Duties

  • prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs
  • operate baking equipment following recipes and make-up instructions
  • wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
  • assist members with bakery orders providing exceptional customer service
  • maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
  • leverage handheld technology to manage production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
  • ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items
  • eliminate waste and secure fragile merchandise
  • collaborate with team members to meet business needs
  • communicate progress and recommend improvements
  • model high-quality service and product knowledge
