Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs
- prepares bakery merchandise per daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- wraps, labels, and stores bakery merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- leverages digital tools for sales and shopping experience improvements
- uses handheld technology for business decisions related to production and product quality
- maintains work area according to company policies
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- advocates for the department by modeling high quality service and products
- complies with company policies and ethics standards
- completes work assignments and priorities by using resources and collaborating with others
- adapts to change and feedback.
