Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in bakery or food service preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

  • ability to operate baking equipment safely
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • basic knowledge of inventory and cold chain management

Job Duties

  • Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
  • follow recipes and make-up instructions
  • wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
  • operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
  • provide exceptional customer service to members
  • maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready work area
  • assist members with purchasing decisions
  • collaborate with team members to build a strong bakery team
  • leverage digital tools to improve sales and operational efficiency
  • ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items
  • secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise
  • eliminate waste
  • execute high levels of quality and service
  • comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics
  • adapt to change and learn from feedback
