Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicates effectively with team members and is flexible to business needs
- Prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise in compliance with company policies
- Ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cold chain standards
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment regularly
- Utilizes handheld technology to enhance production, ordering, and product quality decisions
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- Provides exceptional customer service by assisting members quickly and accurately
- Controls quality and dates of bakery items to minimize waste
- Secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- Advocates for the department and club by modeling high quality service and products
- Completes work assignments by collaborating effectively and adapting to change
- Applies company policies, ethics, and integrity in day-to-day tasks
