Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
ability to stand for long periods

commitment to food safety and sanitation

must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods if hired

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
strong multitasking and organizational skills
customer service experience
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to stand for extended periods
basic computer and technology skills
good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
follow recipes and make-up instructions
wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures
ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with their bakery orders and questions
maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
utilize handheld technology to manage production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
ensure commitment to operational excellence by following company policies and procedures
assist with quality and date control standards for bakery items
reduce waste and secure fragile merchandise
promote a positive member experience by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
act as an advocate for the department by modeling high-quality service and products
