- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and inventory management principles
- Proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology beneficial
Job Duties
- Collaborate with other bakery team members to build a strong and efficient department
- Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by following recipes and operating baking equipment
- Wrap, label, and store bakery items according to company policies ensuring food safety and compliance
- Utilize handheld technology to assist in production decisions, merchandise ordering, and quality control
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area adhering to sanitation and cold chain standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting members, answering questions, and assisting with bakery orders
- Ensure operational excellence by managing inventory control, eliminating waste, and securing merchandise
