Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Less than one year of related baking or kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to follow precise recipes and baking procedures
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to comply with safety and food handling regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Educational standard: fulfillment of high school diploma or GED requirements
  • Candidates with less than one year of related experience in baking, pastry, or kitchen responsibilities are encouraged to apply
  • No licenses or certifications required
  • Prior supervision roles are not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Make and bake pastries, breads, desserts, and similar items according to standard recipes and presentation requirements
  • Weigh, blend, portion, and arrange the components for the daily baking operations
  • Properly maintain and operate baking machinery and tools with safety precautions in mind
  • Monitor ovens and kitchen machinery to confirm the correct cooking periods and temperature controls
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations by following guidelines for proper food storage, personal hygiene practices, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Follow instructions for setting up and breaking down workstation in the kitchen
  • Ensure that food quality and consistency are consistent in every batch prepared throughout the shift
