Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Less than one year of related baking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to follow precise recipes and baking procedures
- Capability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to comply with safety and food handling regulations
Job Qualifications
- Educational standard: fulfillment of high school diploma or GED requirements
- Candidates with less than one year of related experience in baking, pastry, or kitchen responsibilities are encouraged to apply
- No licenses or certifications required
- Prior supervision roles are not mandatory
Job Duties
- Make and bake pastries, breads, desserts, and similar items according to standard recipes and presentation requirements
- Weigh, blend, portion, and arrange the components for the daily baking operations
- Properly maintain and operate baking machinery and tools with safety precautions in mind
- Monitor ovens and kitchen machinery to confirm the correct cooking periods and temperature controls
- Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations by following guidelines for proper food storage, personal hygiene practices, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
- Follow instructions for setting up and breaking down workstation in the kitchen
- Ensure that food quality and consistency are consistent in every batch prepared throughout the shift
