Job Requirements
- Previous baking experience preferred
- willingness to receive training
- ability to work full time or part time with flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to perform physical tasks related to baking
- must comply with food safety and sanitation standards
- capable of standing for extended periods
- able to follow detailed instructions
- drug-free workplace compliance
- readiness to maintain high production standards under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous baking experience preferred but willing to train
- ability to follow recipes and production standards
- basic food safety and sanitation knowledge
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays and overnight
- good customer service and communication skills
- capability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work area
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and equipment
- assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory management
- maintain proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and work area
- handle food items adhering to safety regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
- interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally
- keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
- ensure all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
- follow sanitation and safety principles in food handling and equipment use
- complete assigned shift work timely and thoroughly
- perform other duties as assigned
