Job Requirements

  • Current food handler's card
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial baking experience
  • Minimum 2 years baking experience with laminated products
  • Knowledge of lamination processes, dough proofing, handling and mixing
  • Professional and strong attention to detail
  • High standards for quality and cleanliness
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communication
  • Previous experience working nights and early mornings
  • Ability to work standing for long periods
  • Ability to be led and learn quickly
  • Reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Proofing and baking laminate products
  • Proofing and baking yeasted and quick doughs
  • Piping, shaping, and rolling doughs
  • Scaling and mixing doughs, glazes, fillings, and washes
  • Preparing mise en place items and garnishes
  • Monitoring par inventory levels at work station
  • Using proof boxes, ovens, and mixers safely and efficiently
  • Communicating clearly with baker and production staff
  • Consistent punctuality and attendance
  • Maintaining quality standards and quality control
  • Following all company policies
